We are seeking an innovative and visionary thinker to join our team as a Proposal Consultant. In this role, you will work with our Business Development and Executive teams to craft compelling RFP responses and activities that align with our growth strategies. Your main responsibilities will include creating winning proposals by conveying our message strategically, articulating our value to clients in unique ways, and developing innovative materials to present our story.

This is a freelance, project-based position and is entirely remote. 

You will:

  • Conduct research, write, edit, and produce responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs)
  • Work with leaders from various departments to gather materials and oversee the entire proposal process from initiation to delivery
  • Review and analyze RFPs, and edit proposal content for spelling, grammar, consistency, and compliance with requirements
  • Create PowerPoint/Keynote presentations, leave-behinds, and handouts for meetings with potential clients
  • Modify and improve proposals based on feedback
  • Arrange and participate in strategy meetings
  • Attend preliminary meetings and post-submission debriefings as necessary
  • Support other business development and marketing activities as needed
  • Collaborate with the design team to produce graphics and visuals for projects
  • Deliver presentations to the executive board

You have:

  • 2+ years of experience coordinating proposals or presentations for a consumer-facing brand in the social media space; experience in-house at a digital agency or publisher is preferred
  • Experience creating custom, strategic digital media plans for brands with a focus on social media marketing
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related field
  • Outstanding project and time management abilities, coupled with a sharp focus on detail and a strong sense of organization
  • Exceptional proficiency in writing and meticulous proofreading abilities
  • Proven ability to efficiently multitask and successfully manage multiple deadlines and assignments.
